Opera for the Young is honored to present the trailer for our Hansel & Gretel The Interactive Film. Now available for students and teachers, OFTY’s response to the global pandemic will reach tens of thousands of students in 2021. Enjoy this peek into the opera and be sure to share widely!

In addition to the film, we have created a new video series to teach children the music, motions, and (in partnership with the Madison Children’s Museum) costume building for the opera. Students learning at home AND in the classroom will use these tools to “join our cast” and be a part of the show. In this way, students remain an integral part of the event – something teachers have come to expect from an OFTY experience.
